Value for money was good. Breakfast was fine, too.
Fire alarm in the morning was a little tedious. It took a long time to get information.

Perfectly all right for the price. . Pool was ok and pleasantly tempered.
Breakfast was standard, only too few seats to sit down. The usual plastic dishes are annoying, but unfortunately you have to live with that in the USA.

The beds were extra comfortable and the staff was very helpful when we were mistakenly put into a king room when I reserved 2 queen beds.
My only complaint is the shower wasn't very strong.

Newly renovated. Mostly new stuff in bathroom. Excellent mattress.
New door to room would not catch, nor deadbolt latch. Only slide was working. Maintenance provided a door stop. Also, fire door to stairwell did not close completely via automatic closing mechanism.

Ridiculous training re security. My key didn't work. I got a new key from the front desk person who had never seen me simply by asking for a new key. Also the key system itself is problematic with no clear mapping between room numbers and keys. For room 319 the procedure is to enter room key 313!!!

The room was clean and comfy, with a lovely decor that reminded me of a cozy grandmother's home.
Higher beds could be challenging for seniors.

Cleanliness was definitely a highlight during my stay. The room was spotless when I arrived. The staff was attentive and responsive to my needs, which really helped ease my stress. The breakfast options could use some improvement as they were quite limited.

Property was undergoing renovation and a brand change.
Property was undergoing a brand change and renovation, so parking was a challenge. There were lots of containers and construction workers in most of the spaces. Once renovation is complete, this will be a great place to stay in Charlottesville.

The breakfast with yogurt, muffins was satisfactory, you'll find what you need. I loved new-fashioned rooms on to three cards and welcoming and pleasant staff. The location in a pretty quiet area was good. Charlottesville-Albemarle airport was hardly 20 minutes away by car.

great access to parks and local eateries makes exploring easy
I appreciated how close I was to McIntire Park, perfect for a peaceful stroll, and found a good spot for breakfast at Bodo's Bagels, just a short walk away. As a solo traveler, I felt the hotel provided a cozy room and friendly staff.

The beds were clean and comfortable.
The TV didn't work, the instructions in the room were out of date and there was old food in the fridge. In the breakfast room, the toaster was out of order and the trash was overflowing. All of this seems to be standard because the staff responds to almost everything with shrugs.
